"Super nice place to stay, reasonable prices, and very good property surrounded by a golf course.
Nice little pub attached to it.
Very clean.
I'd stay there again."
"Booked deluxe 148 sq m, 4 star room, received 2 star 49 sq mtr room.
No cupboard for clothes, no fridge for medications, no bathtub for muscle soak.
No full bar, only beer and soda.
After overnight flight checked in early and went to sleep, awoke to fire alarm. Dressed and descended before told was a drill.
Next day exact same scenario, except not a drill. Told by mngt ok and to.return to room. 150 db noise, made me physically sick due to my underlying traumatic brain injury.
Manager refused to take notice of claim of injury, violating Irish law.
Manager refused to help me move to one of their other hotels as I could not risk any more traumas.
Manager refused to reimburse me the three prepaid days, when I checked out 3 days early.
Maldron committed fraud by providing me with product and location that was so inferior to what I prepaid for, 4 weeks ago, before they opened 3 weeks ago.
The second fire alarm on the second day was so bad that I was sick the remaining 3 days of my visit as well as today, on my long transatlantic return home."
"Pretty good overall. Slightly odd as it feels very much like a hotel but with a fridge and a microwave, a tiny hob and dishwasher. If you were to cook there would be nowhere sensible to eat it as v small room
Great location for exploring Dublin, just don’t expect an apartment. It’s a hotel"
"This hotel was a Convenient location and very comfortable , the rooms were clean functional and lovely Feild Day toiletries.
Bed was comfortable . Quiet corridors despite a very busy lobby ."
"We previously stayed at this hotel and chose to come back because we had such a good experience, but the second stay was not great. We were completely ignored at check-in and had to use the “make your own key” check-in machine. We also chose this hotel because it said it had laundry facilities. They don’t have a do-it-yourself facilities, they have a desk drop-off where they send it out at 6:00am and you get the clean laundry back the next day. The woman at the desk was really snooty while explaining the situation and called my teen a “little boy” which he did NOT appreciate. She did, however, tell us where the closest laundry facility was.
There were also only 2 towels, glasses and waters when there were 4 occupants (that was one of the touches I really appreciated about our previous stay, they had 5 of everything for our group of 5) and when I went to the desk to ask for more the man at the desk who had switched out with the earlier woman, seemed incredibly bothered when I asked for 2 more towels. The man who dropped them off to our room later was nice, though."
"If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel in Dublin, this will not disappoint. However, the price does not line-up with the experience and offerings. Think and expect budget hotel experience at a FIVE star hotel price. The bed was clean and comfortable, but occupied 50% of the room. There are no closets or drawers to hold your clothes so you’re managing from your suitcase. The breakfast was good, but but in advance to avoid unnecessary cost."
