My family stayed one night on our drive down from Zadar to Dubrovnik. The hotel was clean and new. The beach and pool were both clean and not too busy. Dinner in the on-site restaurant was good. At breakfast, our kids loved the automatic pancake machine. The location was also nice and quiet, if a bit hard to find. The downsides were minor: a few incomplete items in the room (safe wasn’t bolted down and only one of two TVs were installed), and we had to walk our luggage down the driveway from...

This is a family business. The staffs were very nice, friendly and very helpful. The hotel picked me up and drove me to the bus station, which was very helpful. The location and the view of the hotel are unbeateble, both the river and of course the sea view. 5-10 min walking along the river to reach the sandbeach. The view of the canyons from the beach/ocean ist unbelievable. Very quite location. I am planning to come back and to stay at the Hotel Villa Dvor again.

Hidden gem in a sea of options. A bit of a hilly walk down to the beach but after eating your weight in beach gelato-it’s a welcome jaunt to get steps in and burn off the calories. The area is a bit busy but we liked the location to get to other less crowded beaches. Breakfast was absolutely amazing-I will miss it terribly and will not be able to stomach DIY waffle makers and stale tasteless pastries in US hotels. Staff was helpful and extremely attentive.

This boutique hotel worked perfectly for our three nights in Spilt. It is so convenient and easy to get to from the ferry terminal/train station. It was a 3 minute walk to the market and then into the palace walls. As I watched people dragging their suitcases through the palace looking for their accommodations I was so thankful I was staying where I was. Our say at this hotel was fantastic - great would be an understatement. The rooms are beautiful, welcoming, and perfect. The staff, well, they truly make the hotel even more of a fantastic place to stay. Extremely helpful, warm, friendly, and knowledgable, the staff really made our stay a memorable one. Good hotels have good rooms; great hotels have great staff. This is the only place to stay in Split, and even more so, in Croatia.
