Lovely, small hotel in peaceful, tranquil area with spectacular views. A little out of the city but only 9 minutes by train (twice an hour and free with hotel pass) to Lausanne. The hosts are very welcoming and the restaurant is superb. It was the perfect tonic to an overly hectic schedule and we enjoyed every minute.

We liked the inside parking, hopefully that eventually becomes an expedia vip perk (as its quite expensive, free parking for vip would be awesome). The restaurant below was nice, the hot tub is great. The photos of the lake views from the room are quite exaggerated, the sauna wasnt on while wenwere there, but the location is perfect.
Definitely opt for a lake view room, it will not disappoint. We stayed for three nights in early September and would 100% recommend. Fantastic balcony, great bathroom and very quite and dark.

I'd recommend checking out domain bovy for a great wine tasting. There are only a few restaurants in Chexbres and they hold basic hours, but that's some of the charm of this small town.

This hotel is a basic place to sleep when you're on the go touring around the area. Everything in my room was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and they provided everything I needed. Do not expect a large, luxury accommodation, but for someone on a budget, the price was right and I was very grateful for the attentive, friendly and helpful staff.
