Hotels in St. Matthews

Last minute stop on the way home for a long road trip - couldn't have been better! Still had that new carpet smell, everything was clean, beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was really impressive for being included. Planning to stop here next year as part of the plan.

The property was beautiful and had such amazing character and stunning, original woodwork. The whole house was decorated beautifully and the staff was just lovely. All the way from the cheese and crackers to the cookies and candies, there were so many added touches that left you feeling that your needs and desires were going to be met. The breakfast was amazing! I've never had such great french toast! There were only two downfalls. There were glade plug ins that I had to find and immediately...

In the middle of everything.

Great hotel and great staff

Great hotel stay everything was brand new cant go wrong with that

No internet though. Other than that it was fine.

Love the free buffet dinner! Staff was very helpful. Room was nice. Only complaint was that we could hear some loud cars on the highway at night.

The Derby City Gaming & Hotel was so clean! I felt secure with the safety to access my floor. The staff (Keke) was very welcoming and made check-in great. Bonus: I love to watch the horses train in the morning.

When I and my husband arrived at the hotel, I didn’t know what to expect. But when I got there, the room was very clean, immaculate. I love the room, made me feel like I was in Beverly Hills, very bougie. I like that, and the price was great considering how the room look, I and my husband had a great time and next time when we come we’ll stay again.

Great location, shopping and food in the area and great price!

Palatial building and furnishings with a staff that far exceeds expectations. World class Dining

Staff was overwhelmed with stupid people before me. And instead of being irritated by them they were professional and helpful to me

It was a really nice place to stay. Timothy was awesome! The only thing that was not great was the third party valet. A couple warned us their car was broken into at the open lot along with 5 others that week. Park in the parking buildings near the hotel. They have cameras.

I had a great stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Louisville Old Henry. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable visit. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. I also really enjoyed the breakfast each morning, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would gladly stay here again.

Best hotel in the area. Staff was great. Our second time there.

Lovely new property. Lobby and rooftop bars excellent. Very friendly staff and convenient location. Chamber maid service was a little slow but will definitely stay here on our next trip.

This is a really nice hotel. The vibe is cool. You can walk around the various corridors and lower level to see cool art. The onsite restaurant is excellent! Great service, ambiance and food. The room was very clean, comfortable and bright. We definately will be back & we highly recommend!

Brand new and clean and efficient
