"Great location and excellent room.we stayed in the lady room brilliant views .
Staff were so friendly and helpful .Only stayed for one night on honeymoon pity as such a lovely place ."
"What a great find for a short stay in Edinburgh. The staff here are exceptional, helpful, polite and go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. Although out of the city, it is close to the Airport and Tram (with hotel shuttle) and set in its own grounds which make it idyllic.
Highly recommended 5 Stars
Special mention to the Reception staff who are an asset to your hotel !!!"
"All was fine except for the doors to the rooms which need slamming to close and a push to open. This meant you could hear those near you coming and going."
"Our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh – Queensferry Crossing was fantastic. The hotel is modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Its location is excellent, with convenient access to Edinburgh Airport and a great starting point for exploring Edinburgh and the surrounding area. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"
"Very nice location 1 min walk from Haymarket Station with direct connection by tram 20 min to airport. Walking distance 25 min to Old Town, Castle and the Royal Mile."
"Very handy location right by Haymarket Station with loads of restaurants nearby. Friendly reception staff and my room was clean. Pleasant bar on the ground floor."

When we arrived near the end of time the kitchen was open, they arranged for our bags to be brought to our room and brought us directly to a table in the bar so we got to order in time. The concierge ordered a taxi for our early morning departure the next day and was very helpful. Everyone we met was nice. The room was clean and had a nice shower. Wish we stayed here longer.
Check in was smooth. No lift but successful in lugging 30+kg. suitcase up & down 3 flights of stairs. Room was impeccably clean. Room safe was difficult to access due to its position on floor of closet and tendency to entrap tiny objects in door which forced me to call for help. Batteries were dead in safe but replaced after 1 day's wait. Shower and tub excellent. Wonderful array of amenities. Hotel has stopped supplying slippers. Miss them. Housekeeping excellent Breakfast is exceptionally...
Luxury, in a cute little town that you can walk to. Restaurant and lounge are good, but because it is in walking distance to the town, you have choices. Room was awesome, TV reception fantastic and bathtub was a very welcome thing after a long day of touring. Didn't get to try the spa, but it was great to have that option. If you are looking for full-service, not B&B, this is it!
Ellie, the receptionist, was AMAZING. We arrived at the hotel exhausted and frustrated due to getting lost and other reasons not involving the hotel. I was not very nice when we arrived and irritated about not finding the parking lot. Lovey, kind, and helpful Ellie took care of us. She went above and beyond to comfort us and make us comfortable. She even exited the hotel and personally took me to the parking lot!!! God bless you Ellie for a wonderful stay.
Enjoyed our stay here. Room was a great size with comfortable beds. Location is excellent: 5 min walk to the castle, and around a variety of shops and restaurants and a very safe area. Staff was helpful and friendly.
The only “con” is parking for the hotel, which is about a 15 min walk away, so can be challenging if driving.
We had one night here in preparation for an early flight.
It took us 12 minutes to walk from the hotel to the airport check in - though everyone kept overtaking us and I suspect most people took about 5 minutes.
The staff at reception who booked is in and out were lovely and helpful. The girl who booked us in was very kind helping me with some issues with apps on my phone.
The room was very clean and with all facilities that we required. Very comfortable bed.
Fun quirky decorative features...
Hotel and rooms were clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was there was not a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We ended up walking it.
We’ll maintained, the pool and saunas were fantastic! Highly recommend as it’s walkable and very convenient to all locations downtown. Tge bar was also excellent!!
I have too many positive things to say to list them all. This is honesty the best lodging experience of my life. Great room. Great food. Peacocks! The best service in the know universe. Sample discontinued rare Scotch in the whisky room.
If you find yourself in Edinburgh, stay at Prestonfield House. You won't regret it.
We stayed at The Raeburn for one night on a recent trip to Edinburgh but wish we could have stayed a few more! The room was huge with lovely woodwork and a marble bathroom (the fixtures were top-notch with a huge tub, huge shower, double sink, and towel warmer). Our king-sized bed was very comfortable and there was also a large flat-screen TV. The elevator made it easy to get to our room and there was parking on-site. The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave us champagne to help us...
This is a great hotel for location and comfort. I don't sleep well in hotels but these beds and pillows were fantastic! Multiple options to choose from. I slept great. Dozens of great eating options within 3 blocks of hotel. Needed a cab at 4:30 am for our getaway and they arranged it. Great breakfast every morning too!
Quiet location about 10 minutes from the airport. Stayed here when our flight was cancelled. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Would certainly stay here again.
This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in the UK (and I've been staying at quite a few 5 star hotels). The staff was professional, friendly, and accomodating. They def pay attention to details and ensure we have the best experience. Even provided me some of the best local recs and I was quite impressed (and this is coming from a foodie like me)
