"Parking was very straightforward. Hotel is in a beautiful location above Sorrento. There is a steep 10 minute walk down into the town. Hotel offers a shuttle service. Although limited, the food was well presented and tasty. The staff were exceptionally friendly."
"The Grand Hotel Aminta was a great base for our recent trip to the Amalfi coast. High up on the hill, it overlooks Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples and downtown Sorrento with breathtaking views. Their shuttle into town was very useful and accommodating to our needs. Breakfast buffet included daily. The entire staff is amazing. Special kudos to Rosella at the front desk, Ernesto, Dennis and Pietro in the restaurant. We had a lot of delicious meals there. It was really hard to leave such a...
"Beautiful hotel with great views. Free shuttle hourly to the city center. Good lunch options by the pool. Stag was very friendly and helpful with booking. Definitely recommend!"
"Beautiful view of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius from this stylish hotel. A charming village with restaurants and shops is less than a 10-minute walk away. They also offer a shuttle to Sorrento hourly, running back and forth. The rooms are quite comfortable with ample space."
"Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great access to the beach and the port. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant our last night. We are already discussing our return."

The path winding through the cliffs to the small bar and lounge chairs along the water is very unique. Very small wading pool on upper terrace. Classic double room was small and non-descript. Disappointed with the size of balcony and the sea view from room!
Loved the view. If you are looking for the best view on the Amalfi coast you will have it here. Staff was amazing. AC was best on the trip for sure of all hotels over 3 weeks in Italy!!!
Only thing bad, the caesar salad at the pool was HOT, like it was horrible. Please dont feed that anymore unless it comes chilled with the chicken on top. The salad should not be HOT!!
Will reccomend the hotel to MANY others, but not the HOT salad!!
Absolutely gorgeous grounds. Large elegant lobby and dining rooms with views of Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Our room was not in the main hotel and was too small and lacking amenities. Bathroom was ok. Maybe that's a problem if you book through Hotels.com where the worst rooms are set aside?
This was the perfect stay for us in Sorrento! Francesco and his family were so hospitable- it felt like we made new friends. He went above and beyond to take care of us and make sure we had all the information we needed to navigate around Sorrento. We hope to come back again for another visit some day!
One of the most special boutique hotels we have ever been to - incredibly charming and very beautiful! Antonella and her exquisite dishes are amazing! The team is so friendly and kind. We will definitely return!
The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was delicious, and there was something for every palette 😋 The shuttle service to the town Square Square was convenient and saved us money! Staying here made our 1st visit to Sorrento pleasant, memorable, and relaxing 😌
The hotel has a picturesque view of the Bay of Sorrento, sitting up higher on one end just a short walk from the best restaraunts. If possible request a room on the 1100 piano (floor). The view from there overlooks the pools and the bay. Stunning. This year we stayed on the 5th piano (floor) and the photos of from this year.
We loved our stay at the Grand Hotel President. The views were spectacular and the service was perfect.
Delicious morning breakfast.
Prices in the dining room for dinner were reasonable and food was incredible.
You will not regret staying at this hotel.
We enjoyed our stay in Sorrento Italy. Our hotel LaVue D'Or was great. My family and thought the location was perfect with great views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if we travel back to Sorrento Italy.
All good things to say about Johanna Park Hotel! We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very reasonable and nice bathroom (they’re all small everywhere but this was clean and had tub/shower). The restaurant was good quality, lots of options at the breakfast buffet and solid options for dinner. The service was fantastic, all the staff with the restaurant and the shuttle services were incredibly hardworking and kind to go out of their way for you. The front desk staff was helpful, sometimes a...
Everybody was so friendly and welcoming and helpful. Loved the shuttle service, breakfast was awesome, room was big and clean, and just felt like a home away from home! We loved how close to the beach and town it was. Will definitely recommend to everybody and if we every go back that way will definitely stay there again.
This might be the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff (serving, concierge, bellman, maids - all of them) were the warmest, most sincere and helpful people. It was really a pleasure staying here. The views were lovely, and the room was authentic old Italian - with pretty tiled floors. Even though they didn't know we were bringing a toddler (who generally sleeps with us), they gave us a big two-room suite, where he had his own twin bed. Even though the bed was way too hard for my...
We loved this hotel. The staff was amazing! A very service oriented hotel and very accommodating. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle service to Sorrento which makes it extremely easy to get around. The Conceige is very knowledgeable and has wonderful recommendations and advice for restaurants and things to do. If you can, don't miss their rooftop sunset event. The sunset is exceptional from there. A gem on the Amafi Coast.
Me and my friend Katie stayed here for a week in positano in the beginning of April. We're college students that go to ODU in Virginia and booked through Expedia because it included our transportation to and from our flight, our hotel, etc. we LOVED IT. We were completely obsessed with our hotel. Our room had a balcony attatched that had an AMAZING view of positano. It is in a GREAT area I ALWAYS felt so safe which was a main concern as well. The customer service couldn't have been better. I...
Did a ton of research on hotels in Positano for week vacay w/ my GF - trying to keep $ manageable while providing key amenities (good balcony, location, etc.). So happy I went with Savoia.
Location - Perfect, seriously. Quick walk to Main Beach (5-10 mins) but situated on Cristoforo Colombo which has several nice bars/restaurants & amazing views. Also only 5 min. walk to the Sponda SITA bus stop (other stop is at the top of town). Couldn't beat it.
Room - Stayed in a Deluxe Double Room on 3rd...
This place is amazing off the beaten path but there shuttle is so easy to use they have set time and only takes you to train station but it works perfectly the train station is in town.
Beautiful view, centrally located for great dining, shopping, and boat tours. Quiet at night for light sleepers. Great size room for two. Breakfast service was excellent. All around perfect hotel for the area.
