"This isn't a hotel, it's an apartment as stated. That means more room, more (r)homey vibe and a more private stay. We absolutely loved it. Granted, the information was sparse but communication thru the Hotels.com app worked and (ones we figured it out fully) the door opening-site online worked a charm!
The room was well above standard and very well kept.
The surrounding area is less touristy and more local vibe. Good food, nice atmosphere and way less crowded than more central locations.

"On the outside the first impression was a little dull and underwhelming. But the inside, rooms, personel, breakfast. Everything was 10/10. Easy access by car, cheap parking and one of the most affordable and close to city center hotels you can find.

"The front desk staff was very friendly and helped to arrange a free shuttle from Fumicino airport. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the tiramisu west the standard against which all other tiramisu shall be judged on this trip! The staff in the morning sold us regional train tickets, helped us to get to the Muratella train station and gave us directions to Roma Termini station. Breakfast lived up to its excellent reputation and was well worth €20.

"Our stay in hotel Alberto Abruzzi was perfecto. Staff were so accommodating 24/7, friendly and helpful. Small gestures but means a lot to us. Very clean , Safe it’s all I in there , Close to everything, Free breakfast. Transportation to and from the airport . close to Pantheon and Trevi fountain. Was easy to go around. Till next time. Beautiful room with AC!! And located in Testaccio with many great restaurants, bars and gelato shops. If you are using the bus system many bus stops are just a few streets away and get you to the main areas very quickly. Overall would stay with Bob again the room was so clean and so nice to come back to a cold room after a hot day outside.
This property is really nice. The hotel overall was great. The only thing is if you want to walk everywhere it is a bit far from the Rome city center. But, the train isn’t far and it’s cheap.
Very well appointed, comfortable, hotel serving the international and Italian traveler. Great access to the wonderful Trastevere neighborhood. Ability to get to the historic and religious sites by cab. Hotel staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I recommend it highly.
We stayed at Pulitzer for 5 days, and it couldn't have been better. I have traveled in Europe/Italy several time, however, this was the first trip for my family and friend. The hotel was clean, with great sized rooms and bathrooms. The location was very convenient with a Metro stop very close by. Breakfast was thoroghly enjoyed with a very pleasant dining staff. All the hotel staff were kind and helpful, and I will be recommending this hotel to friends and familly, not to mention staying there...

Hotel Trillusa is a wonderful hotel. It sits right outside the busy tourist area, yet only a quick taxi/tram/bus ride to downtown Rome. The staff was great, very helpful, and knowledgable about pretty much all tourist items we asked: from booking tours, dining, and even helping confirmed pre purchased tours.

We picked this hotel because we had both a wine tasting event and a dinner with friends close to the hotel. This was our first visit. What we found was a very clean, modern and easy to reach by car hotel. It is located within a 10 minute cab ride to some great restaurants and evening fun spots in Roma too. I definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a reasonably price excellent hotel just outside the center of Roma
It was a wonderful stay. The hotel is historic. It ‘s location is perfect. A bit outside of the hubbub, but close enough for easy access. Great restaurants, shopping and historical landmarks are all there. The hotel is clean, the staff accessible. The breakfast staff, and we particularly mention Mariana, were so kind and helpful. They all spoke English which was helpful as did the reception staff. Breakfasts were perfect. Many options of hot or cold food, All good.
