"Great location, within easy walking distance to Armenian Street and Komtar, and easy for getting Grabs to anywhere else. Check in was easy and welcoming, we did have to pay 6MYR for room tax and have a 200MYR deposit charge on our card. We also got complimentary afternoon tea vouchers for each day of our stay. It was a nice break from sightseeing to get free tea, coffee and snacks from 3-5pm. Hotel and rooms are a bit dated but that is part of the charm."

"If u seriously planning to stay in GT, I would say no no to this hotel, reason below: 1> I was rejected to the face of check in to my room unless i pay extra (early check in). I was there past 12pm. 2> The room, uneven floor, dirty floor. 3> Cracked mug, and loose switch. 4> Stains on sofa and bed, hair found on bed cover also. 5> Toilet, bathtub makes lots of noise when u sit on it, like it is gonna break any time, I end up standing on the side to finished my shower. 6> The Neighbour is...

"This place has a very good location in a nice and quet street. Near to a supermarket and several shopping malls, bus station is also nearby. Really appreciated to use the fully equipped shared kitchen. The staff and the owner is kind and helpful. I had one of the private rooms at first floor, a few tings in the room should me fixed/mantained..rooms has an intresting 2floor solution that is kind of functioning quite well for the given space..mostly very quiet at the whole stay. "We had an absolutely gorgeous stay at Jawi Peranakan Mansion! I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We stayed for three nights. The room was beautifully designed and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful, service-minded, and friendly. And we loved cooling off in the pool.
