"I cannot say enough about the staff at Macallister Terraces Hotel. When we arrived Sai was very kind and welcoming. He was very knowledgeable of the area and was able to recommend places to eat and visit. Sagor and Jame were always responsive to our needs and kep the property very neat and tidy. "Great location, within easy walking distance to Armenian Street and Komtar, and easy for getting Grabs to anywhere else. Check in was easy and welcoming, we did have to pay 6MYR for room tax and have a 200MYR deposit charge on our card. We also got complimentary afternoon tea vouchers for each day of our stay. It was a nice break from sightseeing to get free tea, coffee and snacks from 3-5pm. Hotel and rooms are a bit dated but that is part of the charm."
