"We booked a fallsview room and were not disappointed with the view from room 1818. It was certainly the highlight, especially with fireworks each night at ten pm (Friday and Saturday, anyway) and a bonus lightning show over the river the second night. Fairly basic, clean, nice sized rooms although with lower quality mattresses and bedding than I’d expect at this price point. Travelling with a young son, the most disappointing part. We had a swim in the evening and the deck and water had several clumps of hair and some mess from dirty outdoor shoes on the wet deck. I’d hoped the late 9 am pool opening would guarantee it was cleaned up, but the same mess and hair clumps were in the same place 12 hours later when we returned. Other than that, the location was unbeatable, the staff were lovely, and we enjoyed our stay."
