"A friendly welcome by George & his staff at The High Force Hotel. Our room was small but comfortable (room 7) with an excellent shower & the mattress / bedding were superb. Breakfast was a feast with a huge range of foods to choose from. Added bonus was the free access tickets to both High Force Waterfall & Raby Castle which were both delightful & well worth visiting. With free car parking to boot, my husband & I would definitely recommend a stay here to family & friends. Thank you."

Nothing except a playground in the village of Warcop. 5 miles to Appleby in one direction. Kirby Stephen in the other. Lovely countryside."

"We went for a family stay and it did not disappoint! Warm cosy and we were welcomed with fresh bread and treats left for us. Karen came down to check everything was ok. They also cleared snow from the awning over the hot tub! Great hosts this is are 2nd visit as a family "
