"Great hotel ideally situated for anyone attending events at St Mary's stadium which is a short walk away. Around 15 mins walk from Southampton Central train station and Southampton High Street/West Quay. Breakfast was good and plentiful only negative I would say is that there isn't a lot of room to walk by people when getting breakfast items as space is tight. "Grade 1 listed building/hotel with a historic past close to the cathedral gate house with amazing grill restaurant with some South African dishes Lovely happy staff nothing is to much trouble for them. Executive room was large most comfortable bed ,sofa bed , gorgeous fireplace ,furniture,wood panelling great detail,all amenities you’d need inc iron and iron board,plenty tea and coffee with a pod machine. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if visiting Salisbury and Stonehenge."
