"A very old house renovated to be a guest house. On the corner next to White Horse Pub and just down the hill from Dover Castle. Location is great. Narrow stairs to each room. Well-cared for property. We were treated very well. "

"I needed a cheap hotel close to the Dover Ferry, and this was both close and cheap. Somewhat shabby on the inside, but again, typically what you can expect on a low budget stay at a 2 star rated hotel. Room was ok, bathroom very rudimentary, the 1st floor hallway smelled booze/drunkenness. The receptionist was very kind and serviceminded. Location was very nice. All in all, I got what I paid for and can't complain on other than the smell in the hallway outside my room. Would stay there again...
