This said, SmartRooms is nicely located in a barrio that is still inhabited by locals and very well connected to the main attractions with public transport or by walking. My room was super clean and kept like that during my stay. All the common areas were also very clean. Staff was helpful and kind."

"Lovely hotel across the street from Barcelona Sants station. Rooms are very large. Bed is very comfortable. The view from the restaurant on the 23rd floor is fantastic. The rooftop pool & bar is highest in Barcelona & 2nd highest in Spain. You can eat there as well."

Also easy access to Metro (about three blocks to Hostafrancs station and about four blocks to Espanya). One perk of the neighborhood is that restaurants and stores were much more reasonably priced than in Gothic and La Ramblas neighborhoods. "
