"Good location, near Metro Jinyuhutong, take the exit via the lift to ground level and turn right. Near Wangfujing street, which have many shopping and food options. Near Forbidden City, Donghuamen, walk about 700m. Staff is helpful: As we have our Taobao parcels delivered to the hotel, and the concierge staff is helpful and polite. Saw them helping other customer to book food delivery and even local tours."

"We booked rooms at the Beijing Hotel because we remembered it from 40+ years ago, when it was Beijing's premier hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel is now a shadow of its former self. The occupancy rate at the hotel seemed very low. We were told that heat would only be provided after 11/15. Our rooms were in need of renovation. The food in hotel restaurants was poor, and the restaurants wouldn't allow us to charge meals to our room or pay by foreign credit card. On the plus side, the location...

"Perfectly located accommodation in the middle of the Hutong. Walking distance from the subway, shops. Forbidden city is a 40 minute walk, meeting point for the greatwall bus is a 45 minute walk. Very friendly and helpful staff in the hotel, fast internet. We stayed in the familyroom with 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms, very spacious and nice views."
