"Great Hotel"
Drury Plaza Hotel Mobile
"When I booked the room I read the reviews and they stated that this hotel was newly renovated. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that it was not renovated but it was BRAND NEW! You could still smell the fresh paint and drywall when entering the lobby. Landscapers were still laying fresh Sod in the front. Hotel staff confirmed it was in fact a brand new hotel and had only been open for 3 weeks. Everything was brand spanking new. I loved it! The free breakfast was a FULL breakfast with every option you could think of. It was not just a continental breakfast. I also didn’t realize that free dinner was available nightly as well. That was also a nice surprise. Staff were polite and friendly every time we came in contact. I asked the supervisor Mel for a tour of a suite and he obliged with no questions asked. One afternoon Chris brewed me a fresh pot of coffee and popped some fresh popcorn which is also available 24/7 to guest. Just excellent hospitality all the way around. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the decor. It was tastefully done, neutral, and modern. This was my first time staying at a Drury hotel and it certainly won’t be my last."
