"Really liked the place. Breakfast was served fresh and had many options to choose from. Free parking. The room was spacious and clean. The pool and the hot tub was great. Only suggestion I have is to keep some fresh fruit option in the breakfast which kids like a lot."

"Hi, we have chosen this motel to stay at for years as we always travel to midland every summer Would rather stay here then the very expensive hotels at top of street. Basic but we have never had a complaint. Staff always willing to help when ever possible. We have another reservation for Butter tart festival in June. Then our usual time in August. You can’t beat the price."

"We chose Sherwood Inn as it was close to a number of smaller towns we wanted to visit. The older design and setting of the inn is a charm on its own; and everything was well managed and running well. The rooms are a bit dated, but very comfortable and had everything needed for a weekend stay. The breakfast buffet is excellent value for money, covering all the options on most breakfast menus; and the bar has great range supported by an excellent bartender. We did hike the trails on the property, which had great views of Lake Joseph and the forests. The trails themselves are poorly marked and the map provided by the reception is woefully out of sync with the actual trails on the ground. "

"Staff very friendly and helpful Concerning mould in the pool area Dock not properly working, with no sign Rooms have PAPER THIN WALLS and floors. Everything seems to rattle, could hear people in the hall and doors slamming all the time. Bed tilted while sitting on the edge. Lots of upgrading needed Has potential but it is definitely not there."
