Excellent. I loved the private onsen and the view from my room- breathtaking. We went to Nita Pass to the gondola and the view is amazing.
Just a note for westerners, the food can be challenging if you aren’t familiar or like traditional Japanese food. I do not eat pork or beef. I still enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend to anyone.
The stay was excellent. The staff were very professional. There is a chinese front desk receptionist explained everthing in very details. It was my birthday date when i checked in. I enjoyed the room, your hotel faciliy and cleaniness.
The Candeo Hotel in China Town Nagasaki was one of the best hotel experiences my husband and I ever had.
The hotel is clean and was so quiet, I thought we were the only guests there, but in fact there were so many! This is hotel right in the center of great walking areas and local eateries. It's literally across the street from Chinatown and a short walk to Dejima. At night the area just a block to the northeast comes alive, but it's a lot like a super-mini locals'Shinjuku so you can decide on whether that vibe suits you.
The hotel has spacious 320 sq meter rooms available and six washing machines, the free late night noodles were really good and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
What a perfect location for experiencing the city of Nagasaki. We were right located near the main area of Nagasaki Chinatown. We were surrounded by convenience stores and a very large number of restaurants either small privately owned to chain restaurants. Just generally shopping galor.
