Beautiful hotel, with superb service (with one exception). The physical beauty of this hotel brings the beauty of the sandstone exteriors to life with interiors which are more than a match. The staff revel in all the material the hotel designers and resident historian and forager have given them to play with. Breakfast and dinner in the Brasserie are superb and the rooms are very large and lush. The hotel is still ramping up and keeping up the personal level of service will be a challenge but...
We got to the hotel early due to our flight. While they didn't have a room ready, we were able to leave our bags at the desk. When got back they graciously upgraded us from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom room. The view was beautiful and the rooms were clean and organized.
Although it was not situated right on Bondi Beach, it was just up the street and was actually a better choice for the busy area. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly.

Taking the train from the International Airport terminal to Central Station was quick and easy. We got in at 7:30PM so the train was rather empty. Getting an Opal card at the airport for the train was quick and easy as well. Once at Central Station finding Pitt street was a little confusing, but once I figured out where we were, it was a quick 5-10 min walk to the hotel.

Traveled from San Francisco Bay Area so I wasn’t familiar with the area. Glad I chose this hotel. Nice staff, good food, close to shopping and restaurants. Rooms are clean and modern.
We can’t say enough about this hotel! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. Peter was so gracious-held our bags and let us freshen up so we could explore the city when we first arrived. The food and drinks were incredible as well! If we are in the area again, we will most definitely be staying here.
Location is amazing, right off the light rail. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff were knowledgeable, kind, and very customer service oriented. I would definitely stay here again.

We had been in Australia for a few weeks and only needed a place to crash that was downtown and cheap for two nights before our flight home. This was perfect. No frills. Small room. Reception was only open when we showed up. Convenient bar downstairs takes care of anything afterwards. Their fish and chips is good. Walking distance (for us- late 40s active) to 2 harbor areas. Did I mention the bar downstairs? Bottle shop (liquor store) attached and a large size, for a downtown, grocery store...
This was a great location once you worked out the public transportation, from buses to the light rail, you can get anywhere in Sydney.
The room is a good size and the heating and A/C is good. The only thing that can be improved on is the bathroom its a little bit small without much storage. If they would install shelving on the mirror it would improve the bathroom a bunch.
The staff was excellent and the coffee shop across the street was great.
