I had no expectations for this hotel, or the town, and was stunned by both of them. The hotel was beautiful. Clean, big rooms (we had a 1-bedroom suite), great location, superb breakfast and an unusually helpful staff (including a very early check-in). The location is ideal. Right in the heart of one of the most charming little towns you'll ever visit. Great restaurants and cafes within a short walk, beautiful countryside. I would go back in a minute (if it weren't 4000 miles from my home).
I thought the owners were great. we did not speak much french and they do not speak english but they worked with us and we got great service great breakfast and the view and room was great.
Georges and Geraldine were such fantastic hosts. La Moulin is a great place to stay. The location is beautiful and we very much enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. We will try and stay again if we come through the region.
A unique B&B nestled in a tiny village away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend. Quiet, romantic, oozing with charm and character. Rooms have A/C that works well. Beautifully renovated building. Breakfast is a 14euro add-on (not sure it’s worth it) and the walkable restaurants are fine (if they’re open and available). You might have to drive 10-15 mins. for other options. Overall, we liked it!
Great location. I was trying to get a B and B in the area and picked this place when I couldn't find one. The hotel itself is connect next to a fairly large, well lit, clean and safe convenience/gas station and the clerks run both the gas station and the hotel front desk. Check in was smooth, and the room very clean, modern and comfortable. This was a nice little hotel outside city limits. It is set in the countryside and is very picturesque. The attached restaurant served delicious food at a very reasonable price. There was a nice little playground for the kids to burn off energy before bed. This is not walkable to Durbuy but a quick 5 minute drive. The staff was very welcoming and made sure that our waiter spoke English which made ordering so much less tricky. A very peaceful relaxing stay.
