Learn more about Londonderry
Trace the complete 17th-century walls for views across both sides of the River Foyle, where history feels startlingly present. The Museum of Free Derry confronts the city's troubled past with unflinching honesty, while colorful political murals tell stories that words alone cannot capture. Duck into the neo-Gothic Guildhall to admire stained glass windows that survived the Troubles. The Tower Museum cleverly spirals visitors through centuries of border-city life. Cross the elegant Peace Bridge connecting the traditionally Catholic 'Cityside' with Protestant 'Waterside.' The Diamond buzzes with street performers and locals who'll happily debate which name to use - Derry or Londonderry - before directing you to the best spots for traditional music.

Walled City Hotel
"Really enjoyed my stay. I had the Mini Irish breakfast. Based on this I don’t think I could have managed the Full Irish breakfast."
Everglades Hotel
"The room was clean, the water was hot and the staff were great. We had a problem with the safe which was fixed promptly. Our room was facing the road so there was a lot of traffic noise. The room was super hot - open windows and the supplied fan didn’t help much."
Maldron Hotel Derry
"Great location in the centre of Derry. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the room was spacious and comfortable for two people. It was also nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend for a short stay in Derry."
Abbey Bed and Breakfast
"Seamus great host loved our stay, room clean & great breakfast"
Da Vinci's Hotel Derry
"Very clean, good breakfast. 20 minutes walk from downtown. Great place and good price!"
City Hotel Derry
"Sink would not drain - requested a fix twice. Toilet paper ran out, no spare."
Wee Sleep Ireland
"Clean room, although not many staff nearby and process was mostly through the app. Great stay for what we needed it for"
22 The Square
"Nice large room with high ceiling but could have done with some renovation (window frames etc.) Comfortable bed and furnishings. Access to a fully equipped kitchen and lounge was very useful and comfortable. No real place to leave my bicycle but it was indoors and safe nontheless. I really enjoyed the walking tour of Derry provided by staff at a reasonable price. The staff were only available at their sister location around the corner which could be a little inconvenient. To reach the bathroom I had to go up and downstairs and there was no mirror in the bathroom. The carpets were badly stained in some places."
Clarence House
"Staying in Clarence hotel was amazing"
