This is a wonderful restoration of a 1905 home. The staff is awesome and makes the stay really enjoyable. The floors creek but the bed is comfortable and the breakfasts gourmet quality. Bikes are available, there is a pool and hot tub, plenty of parking. It is a wonderful escape from the standard hotels. We loved it. And we met a lot of really nice visitors as well. Great place that we will return to.
David and Julie are consummate hosts! I altered my departure plans because I didn't want to miss one of Julie's breakfasts! Our room was magnificent, clean and so comfortable. They were very attentive but super cool and laid back at the same time. The house itself is a gem. Location is perfect and the pool is the cherry on the sundae! We can't wait to return!

We had a truly wonderful time during our three day stay. The staff was always there and always helpful. The happy hour was so much fun. We met so many people and had so many wonderful conversations on that "happy hour" deck overlooking the ocean. The staff was always there to meet your every need - and the unlimited, complamentry beer/wine/snacks during happy hour was way beyond expectations.
The only negative thing in the entire stay was the bed. I think the matress came over on the Mayflower....

After extensive research, we choose the Williams House in Fernandina Beach and stayed for one week, January 15 thru 22, 2017. Since this was our first experience of B&B, we were somewhat apprehensive before arriving there. But our worry promptly vanished and enjoyed an exotic atmosphere and wonderful treatment which were clearly much different from the regular hotels.
