"Friendly staff. The breakfast area was well stocked and clean."

"The room reeked of cigarette smoke, mold and gas from the neighboring gasfield extraction. There were bare wires where the smoke detector should have been. The shower and toilet both had slow running drains. The bathroom door lacked a latch. My wife and I were awoken by a leak in the ceiling early in the morning. We guessed it was the room upstairs shower leaking through and onto the nightstand. We also think the hotel has some long-term tennants that kind of roamed around the property. Nothing bad happened, but it was very strange and a little sketchy. As mentioned above, the hotel sits next to a small gas field with well pumps running 24/7. This leads to a constant and present smell of gas. All in all: if you can - stay somewhere else. This place is not a good option."

"Charming vintage building. Our ensuite room was attractive. However, the bathroom was dated and not entirely clean. No breakfast offered for our midweek stay."

"ENTERED ROOM, drawers were all pulled out-odd, full cup of coffee in coffee maker, Spilled around base of maker. AN OPENED UN-used open condom package on middle of bed! I THINK THAT SAYS IT ALL"

"The room was great - we LOVED housekeeping dumping the trash & adding fresh towels. We haven't gotten that service at any hotel since covid. The back parking lot has sizable potholes but after the winter we've had, that's not terribly surprising. Both times I went to get a hot drink there were no hot cups available - perhaps they were isolated incidents, but 2 days in a row during breakfast was disappointing. All staff were very pleasant. Upgrading the TVs so people could use streaming services would be great!"
