"Excellent location, amenities, cleanliness and attentiveness of staff. Great breakfast and coffee bar with complementary daily special coffee drinks. Would make the regular coffee stronger though and larger portions for breakfast."

"The reason to stay is location, which can’t be beat. We’ve stayed here before it became ‘corporate’. It’s now almost impossible to call ahead and speak to someone actually at the hotel (persistence will pay off however’). Once there, the staff on site are friendly and helpful. The building given its seafront location requires constant maintenance and some of this was lacking: our door lock was jammed and keycard never worked the 2 days/nights we were there, the pool was also non functioning. The restaurant had limited hours and NO breakfast. There is coffee in the lobby which I guess is covered by the $50/night result fee we were billed after check out. Not sure what else that’s supposed to cover. A huge plus would be an outdoor shower or at least foot shower to keep from tracking in pounds of sand after time on the beach"

"The pool, breakfast /lounge area /food and accessibility to the rooms from parking lot were great. Staff was nice. I did not like the noise from the thin ceilings inbetween first and second floor. It wasn’t the guests fault. I think it is the age of the hotel. It was hard to fall asleep sometimes. Other than that the experience was great."

"Great location, excellent facilities. Staff very mixed - some incredible and some terrible. Cumulative number of issues but dealt with by a member of the management team after getting fed up of a number of things, Including: Dog mess left for > 24 hours after reporting it. Staff member laughed and clearly did nothing after reporting it. Not our dog. Had to call 4 times to get our daughters bed made up in the room. Despite being on the booking months in advance. Asked for an ice cream for our daughter and told i was lying when i said they’d done it for her the two proceeding days and they couldnt get her one. Not the kind of treatment or experience from a resort of this quality."
