Learn more about La Conner
Tucked between the Swinomish Channel and tulip fields, this tiny waterfront town punches well above its artistic weight. Watch boats glide beneath the iconic Rainbow Bridge while sipping coffee at a dockside café. The Museum of Northwest Art showcases regional masterpieces just steps from boutiques selling handcrafted jewelry and wooden bowls. Visit in April when the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival transforms surrounding farmland into a patchwork of impossible colors. Kayak the peaceful channel waters or claim a bench at Pioneer Park to watch herons fish. The Quilt & Textile Museum occupies a Victorian mansion almost as intricate as the works inside. Come evening, seafood restaurants serve the day's catch as the sunset paints the channel gold.

Best Western Plus Oak Harbor Hotel & Conference Center
"The room was very clean. I’m a super clean kinda person so I was impressed. Very friendly with our two dogs. Pool and hot tub were great. Chairs and beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was excellent."
La Conner Channel Lodge
"Clean and comfortable. Could use some updates. We enjoyed the balcony and the proximity to shops and restaurants. The free breakfast offers a nutritious variety of choices."
The Wild Iris Inn
"The staff were very attentive and accommodating. They refrigerated a cheese plate for us, and they allowed us to take a cutting from one of their hydrangea plants. The room was nice and the location was perfect. It was close and walkable to the main streets with all the attractions. Yet it was quiet and felt secluded. The room was clean. The breakfast was good and easy. And they had plenty of parking."
