Union Hill-Novelty Hill
Union Hill-Novelty Hill gives you that dreamy suburban escape with a healthy dose of Pacific Northwest magic. Winding roads lead through towering evergreens to spacious homes nestled in nature's embrace. The Redmond Watershed Preserve offers peaceful hiking trails where the only soundtrack is birdsong and rustling leaves. When adventure calls, you're just a short drive from the scenic Snoqualmie River. This quiet residential area requires a car to truly explore. Most visitors opt for vacation rentals with full kitchens and private yards rather than hotels. For dining and shopping, make the quick 15-minute drive to Redmond Town Center where local eateries and stores await.
Overlake
Home to Microsoft's main campus and Nintendo of America headquarters, this area boasts a bustling retail district along 148th Avenue N.E. and N.E. 24th Street, with easy access to Seattle via State Route 520.

Education Hill
Education Hill delivers suburban peace with easy access to Redmond's attractions. Tree-lined streets wind past well-maintained homes, while Hartman Park and Nike Park offer green escapes for outdoor lovers. The Redmond Performing Arts Center hosts cultural events, and tech enthusiasts might appreciate the neighborhood's proximity to DigiPen Institute. Dining options are limited but cozy family restaurants and coffee shops dot the area. Most visitors stay in vacation rentals or bed & breakfasts that capture the authentic neighborhood feel. A car is recommended as public transit is sparse, though downtown Redmond's shopping and dining are just a short drive away.

Downtown Redmond
Downtown Redmond blends business buzz with outdoor relaxation in this tech-centered neighborhood. Stroll through pedestrian-friendly Cleveland Street with its shops and dining patios. Explore the open-air Redmond Town Center, catch a movie at Regal Bella Bottega, or unwind in the manicured Downtown Park. Dining options reflect the international tech workforce with a strong Asian fusion presence. Business hotels and extended-stay properties cater to corporate travelers with modern amenities. The area connects easily to Seattle via Sound Transit buses, and its excellent walkability makes exploring the town center core a breeze.

Learn more about Redmond
Pedal through the 'Bicycle Capital of the Northwest' where tech giants and nature coexist in surprising harmony. The Microsoft Visitor Center offers a glimpse into the company that transformed this once-sleepy suburb into a tech powerhouse. After exploring Lake Sammamish's shoreline trails, sample vintages at Chateau Ste. Michelle's tasting room. Redmond Town Center combines shopping with outdoor concerts in summer months. The Old Redmond Firehouse Teen Center showcases local bands in an authentically grungy setting. For a perfect day, rent a bike at Marymoor Park before catching live theater at SecondStory Repertory. Tech workers fill local cafes, discussing code while watching cyclists race through downtown during the annual Derby Days festival.

Mayflower Park Hotel
"Everything was great! Valet parking took a little bit to long get our car back!"
The Belltown Inn
"Rooms were small, clean but comfortable. Only one elevator which took longer to get to our room."
Four Points By Sheraton Seattle Airport South
"The front desk person was very nice and efficient. The hotel was clean. But there were no grab bars in the bathroom shower and the new vanity exposed the plumbing. It was skimpy on towels. The shuttle from the airport was a bear to find and inconvenient and we had to wait more than 1/2 hr for it to arrive and it was crowded at the platform."
Mediterranean Inn
"Very nice place close to many walkable attractions."
Executive Hotel Pacific
"This place has very nice amenities. Rooms are very nice and clean. We don’t come to Seattle very often and parking was a pain. One thing to note, is at least in the room we had the bathroom was very small. If you’re a very tall person the shower is awesome but the toilet area was very small and your legs will have a tight fit. That’s the only bad. But otherwise it’s a great place to stay"
Coast Gateway Hotel
"Absolutely loved how the staff accommodated us when United delayed and cancelled our flights and we didn't get to the motel until 9 in the morning. The staff was outstanding."
Sheraton Grand Seattle
"Great location, easy access to Pike Street and football field. Valet parking was super easy and they were very accommodating anytime I needed my car."
citizenM Seattle Pioneer Square
"This hotel is so cute the room was small but cozy. The iPad control for everything worked great and was easy to use."
Renaissance Seattle Hotel
"$35 for buffet breakfast. But if you order breakfast, the staff still grabs it from the buffet line"
