Very cool historic hotel to stay in. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Looks brand new, staff very friendly and professional, spacious rooms with microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, sink.

Clean room. Very good breakfast.

It was great and they had the best breakfast. The scrambled eggs were so tasty, better than most restaurants. My kids loved the cinnamon rolls and sausage.

The young lady working the breakfast was amazing. Kept everything thing filled, clean and tidy. She went above and beyond just doing her job! Outstanding in her service.

Staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. Room was excellent - quiet, clean, and well furnished. Location was perfect for walking everywhere in downtown Athens.Will definitely stay there again next time I'm in town!

The check in was fast and smooth. The room was clean, and the A/C blew cold. The staff was pleasant and the price I paid for the room was great.

It was a wonderful hotel. Amazing breakfast. Eggs. Biscuits and gravy. Pancakes. Hotel staff was extremely nice. Cleaned our room everyday. Had black out curtains so the kids could nap during the day. Kids loved the pool. We will be staying there again!

The hotel was great, comfortable, clean, good breakfast, very nice helpful staff, and reasonably priced. It is a little dated and some of the furnishings like shower curtains and bedroom curtains could be replaced but it didn't detract from the overall experience. It is within walking distance of a few restaurants and very easy access to the highway. It had a huge pool and an exercise room as well as snack machines and other amenities. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean room, clean sheets and towels, hot water and heater worked great. No breakfast to speak of and there are plenty of restaurants just down the street. Can't beat it for the price. It is an economy hotel that's better kept up than rooms costing 2-3 times in other national chains.

The most beautiful property in Marietta and surrounding areas. However if you have trouble walking up stairs, this hotel is not for you. About 40 stairs to get to room, but you'll get an amazing workout!!!

My wife and I love historic hotels, and the Lafayette is over 100 years old. We had a king parlor suite on the 5th. floor with river view. It was very quiet and peaceful. We had drinks on the rooftop patio while watching barges and river boats travel back and forth on the Ohio River. We had supper in the bar which was outstanding. Great service, great prices, and historic bar atmosphere made it a very nice evening. We didn’t know while booking that it included a free breakfast. So I was...
