Sleepy Hollow Cemetery houses Author's Ridge, final resting place of Emerson, Thoreau, and the Alcotts. The Concord Museum displays treasures including Thoreau's desk and Revolutionary War artifacts. After historical wanderings, refuel at one of the charming Main Street cafés where locals debate which author best captured the town's enduring spirit.
"Front desk staff both professional and personable. Website needs to be updated. Hotel undergoing renovations. Restaurant hours not as posted. Great location!"
"Staff was wonderful and attentive. I didn’t need anything but they offered and that was thoughtful. Valet was expensive but very convenient. The location was perfect for exploring seaport during the holidays. My only criticism was that the bathroom could be cleaner. The bathtub didn’t look suitable for my kiddos to take a bath in. We otherwise had a great time and would certainly return!"
"Wow what an amazing stay! From checking in the amazing concierge made sure I was able to check in early. I was greeted by my first name the rest of my trip the hotel bar that was connected the last hurrah I went to every night before dinner. I had an amazing waiter Francesco I sat with the three nights in a row. He was very attentive made sure I was knowledgeable of the menu.I was traveling alone and as woman it was great to feel safe. The room was cozy and I loved the updated features to such an historical building. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything. I will definitely be coming back. "
"Beautiful weekend stay during the weekend before Christmas. Everyone there was so accommodating and they treated our boys like VIP guests. I would 100% go there again. Thank you Langham for giving us a memorable family weekend getaway! "
