"⸻ I had a wonderful stay at a beautiful hotel in downtown Raleigh. The location is perfect—there always seems to be something happening nearby, which makes the atmosphere lively and exciting. During my stay, I even got to witness a wedding, which added a special touch to the experience. The highlight for me was definitely the breakfast buffet—it was a solid 10/10 with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Overall, a fantastic stay, and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!"

"Did not care for the safety concerns. People loitering in the parking lot at 4am, Bullet proof glass around the lobby reception, poor lighting in the rooms, damaged doors and walls throughout room and hallway."

"Let’s start with the postive: Great location and love that there are phone chargers in the room Now for the negative: When we got ready for bed, I pulled the comforter down to get in the bed. On the underside the comforter was dirty with black dirt on it. I called the front desk and there was no apology issued, I was told I would have to come down to the front desk to retrieve a new comforter. I was in my pajamas at that point and told the desk clerk. He said he couldn’t leave the front desk since he was the only one there. Even though just 10-15 mins prior he was down the hallway doing something for another guest when I walked in. I ended up having to go down to the front desk in my pajamas to get the new comforter myself. Yet still no apology. I’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past several years but this time will definitely be my last. After seeing that I felt like the whole room was dirty and not cleaned well. "

"Second time lucky! After my first scheduled visit was snowed off, I made it to the Longleaf this week and I LOVE it! Such a cool modern take on the old school motel. Wonderful staff, lovely rooms, amazing bar, my favourite garden in any smaller US hotel and the perfect location. Just the best package available! I genuinely cannot wait to go back again and to see the wonderful employees again and a little more of the city as my entire stay was under 18hrs! As Arnie once said: “I’ll be back”!"
