"I want to give this place 5 stars, but it was built cheap with no soundproofing between rooms. Springhill suites are one of my favorite hotel brands, usually perfect. The rooms were very nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The trundle bed and sofa worked great for our 11 and 9 year old. We needed an extra blanket and staff brought it right away. The breakfast was good with a lot of options - milk, juices, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, waffle makers, biscuits and gravy, bananas, oranges, apples, yogurt, cereal, breads to toast. The hotel was so noisy though. It was youth state wrestling, so the halls were really noisy until 10 pm. The people next to us were up until 1:00 am talking kind of loudly but you shouldn’t be able to articulate what they are saying through a wall. At 6:00 am, we were woken by an alarm that was only on vibrate by the people on the other side of us- thin walls/no insulation between rooms. The cooling system was loud but I actually loved when it ran bc it blocked out the other noises. This hotel would be great when it’s not busy if you could be in a room w/o ppl on either side of you. It’s too bad they built it on the cheap w/o any soundproofing b/t rooms. I can sleep through noise too. I live on a busy street in Omaha with cars going by all night, but this wasn’t just a little background noise. It was crystal clear, almost like it was in your own room."

"Room was spotless lots of room and front desk got us all the extra bedding we needed the beds were super comfortable and breakfast was great overall if I was going back to grand island I’d definitely stay there again ."

"Breakfast was meager. “To go” bag with water, fruit and a granola bar. Not very impressive. "

"Beautiful new facility. We went to the casino, and had a drink in the bar, and were told we could only pay in cash or with our players card which we didn't have. Very odd. Also was told at the front desk that I couldn't get a copy of my end bill although the other people we were there with did. I just think staff needs some training and/or supervision."

"It was a good place to stay. The breakfast like most places gets old after three nights. Loved the hot tub because it worked! "
