"Free parking across the street. Hotel very clean. Our room very clean. Quiet! On the water(& apparently when booking thru 3rd party we were told we couldn’t have room with view of the river!)The front desk staff were friendly-you get a warmed cookie when checking in. Things that were negative: town doesn’t have much to do (it’s kinda like a ghost town..lots of buildings but not many businesses in them-just to understand how quiet it is as the hotel is at the end of the main strip on the water), the hotel restaurant has certain hours and if you get there late (we arrived Sunday evening) you can’t eat b/c they are closed. There is a restaurant on the water but again closes “early”."

"Make sure you plan your trip around what you wish to do at this casino. We booked it because there's a dog track there. I thought it'd be awesome to see. And they have several dining options. Although checking in on Monday. Nothing was available. All but one restaurant. Which was More of a diner. None of the other restaurants aren't open till Wednesday through Sunday. As was the dog track. Which on their website said it was open every day."

"Our room was good with a small TV, fridge. The bed was good and the balcony was nice. The bathroom is small but it fits for a historic building. It was pretty chilly outside when we arrived late spring but there was no heat as we were told the owner had already turned off the boiler system. The balcony gave us a very nice view of the river and the downtown. Everywhere in town is easy to get to from the hotel. The breakfast was not very good as the eggs seemed to be powdered."
