"This hotel is a must for anyone visiting Amsterdam! The location is ideal near the Leidseplein ( 1 block) right on several tram lines and a 5 minute walk from the Risksmuseum. The bloom market is three blocks away. The staff was wonderfully helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. The coffee lounge was clean and welcoming with afternoon pastries. Just outside was a stop for evening canal boat rides. I wholeheartedly give this an excellent rating."

"This is one of Amsterdam’s iconic, old school hotels. Ideally located within walking distance of all of the major museums, the tram stop in front makes it easy to get to the central train station and explore further afield, too. The staff is friendly and the bar and cafe are relaxing, with great food and creative cocktails. We loved it! Try to get a balcony room overlooking the canal."

The morning breakfast was an added bonus and the coffee machine , latte machine was a delight. The staff were so friendly to us and gave good directions. There was laundry facilities with separate washer and dryer is quick and excellent Thank you for the great stay"
