I loved this hotel, it was our first time to Amelia Island. We have two small kids, ages 5 and 2. Everyone had a blast. Property is awesome. As always the customer service at a Ritz Carlton is above and beyond. The location is great, short drive or uber ride in to downtown. Beach feels secluded. I don’t know who hires the staff, but they know what they’re doing. Every single person was awesome. They’re helpful and very friendly. Only complaint is the same with any high end hotel. You’re quoted and pay in advance for your stay. They also tell you what you will have to pay at the hotel. It was twice as much, and we didn’t do anything to cause the increase.

The staff members were attentive while understaff for the new year holiday. I wouldn’t want to work on a holiday either, no blame there. The rooms were spacious, bathroom clean. Looks like the property was refurbished from an older build. Overall excellent experience. Do skip the breakfast and find a near by restaurant. Staff incredible, food was edible, coffee was weak.

After extensive research, we choose the Williams House in Fernandina Beach and stayed for one week, January 15 thru 22, 2017. Since this was our first experience of B&B, we were somewhat apprehensive before arriving there. But our worry promptly vanished and enjoyed an exotic atmosphere and wonderful treatment which were clearly much different from the regular hotels. The building and our room (Chloe's Garden Room) are filled with beautiful old charm and elegance, Thus we felt visiting...

Communication by the owners/management was great! Even a late night question about parking was answered immediately. Place was clean, steps from the beach and perfect for a weekend getaway!

Our family had a wonderful stay at your hotel. My husband jokingly calls me a hotel snob. While I don't see myself that way, I do value cleanliness and enjoy discovering places that make me feel comfortable. I don't travel very often, but when I find a place that meets all my expectations, it's truly a rarity.

Booked this hotel based on reviews and location too. Reserved day of and didn’t get my requests (top floor, view of ocean)….but the design is so good - spacious rooms with no stale hotel smell - that I was ok with a middle floor. Hotel was quiet, clean and very well thought out. I don’t think it was full so not sure why I didn’t get my requests (view of parking lot instead)…but the Millennial vibes were appreciated. Lack of carpet, full kitchen, wood accents. Simple and elegant for a mid grade...

I absolutely loved our stay! It was above and beyond our expectations!! I wasn’t sure how it would be but I can honestly say I would stay here every time I visit Amelia Island!
