This is our second visit here, as we will be coming down to WV from PA every other weekend and this place is our #1 choice!! The staff is very friendly and extremely accommodating. Breakfast is served every morning. Pool and amenities are great, very clean rooms.. cleanest i have been in yet!! Prices are reasonable and parking is right on site. No complaints here!!
We loved it. Lovely large rooms w/living room kitchen & dining room. No stove but that was very clearly stated when booking so no problem. Clean and recently renovated. Restaurant/bar associated was quite good. Staff were outstanding! Close to Greenbriar & Lewisburg. Highly recommend
I stayed here two years ago. Since then, the property including the rooms have been renovated and updated. Very clean. I checked in after a long weekend of work and camping. Air conditioning, a hot shower and a large comfortable bed...all things for which I felt grateful.
As before, the Staff was friendly and helpful.
Mountain Lake Lodge was totally charming. they appear to have made a conscious decision to keep the place very well-maintained, but (other than the free wi-fi, for which I did not even need a password) NOT to try to modernize much. Thus, it retains a very old-fashioned charm. No TV in the rooms, no AC (plenty cool with the window open to the fresh night air and the fan on), tennis courts and other outdoor games. Great! For the affordable price, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of everything. The room was BIG. Very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was more inclusive than some high priced hotels I've stayed at in major cities. And the all inclusive fresh pre-packaged breakfast was great as well, and perfect since we we're on the go in the morning. Overall we were actually sad that the stay wasn't longer. Will be looking for an excuse to return as soon as we can!!
