"The hotel is a little bit tired in places, and some of the furniture needs replacing in the dining area. But our room was lovely, very comfy bed and a beautiful view of the sea. The location in Downderry is spectacular and all of the staff were friendly and accommodating and worked really hard on a very busy bank holiday weekend. Definitely worth a visit !"

"We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. We were very pleasantly surprised. Lindsay, the owner is a lovely fellow and you could just stop and talk...

"This is a lovely hotel right in the heart of Fowey. We have stayed here a few times now and each time has been thoroughly enjoyable. The staff are friendly and keen to do what they can for you, the rooms are great (ours had double aspect windows over the river, which was delightful), and the food is really good too (we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in their restaurant). Ideally placed to explore Fowey and all its shops, cafes and restaurants. We would happily visit again."
