Overall a great experience during couple of days stay at the location. Fine dining and great amenities helped my stay very comfortable. Will visit with my family again next year.

The folks at the New Serkong House provided us with a warm welcome and peaceful stay before and after our 10 days at Tushita Meditation Center. We were grateful for their hospitality and appreciated their assistance and advice. We especially enjoyed having a beverage on their cafe’s open balcony overlooking the valley as eagles soared by and the sun set over the mountains.

Beautiful little gem of a hotel located right next to the Dalai Lama temple. Loved our stay here. Extremely comfortable time there with very attentive staff, and lovely rooms. Traditional Tibetan decor made it a special experience. Onsite restaurant with free breakfast was wonderful too. Tibetan cuisine offerings were great. Loved every minute of our stay. We’ll be back!

Wonderful stay! Great location—close to everything but nice and quiet. Staff were very kind, friendly, & helpful. I got a room with a balcony and Mountain View’s which was wonderful. I enjoyed watching the birds & monkeys! And breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend and would happily stay there again,

Great place for family

We had a wonderful stay at Echor Tree Mandara Village. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, great location and kind staff. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the restaurant was delicious. It also has a beautiful view of the mountains and Dharamshala. Highly recommended and will be staying again when back!

Large bathroom with good shower . Very clean room close to eateries and attractions but in a quiet area for a good night’s sleep . Staff helped with securing a driver for sightseeing and transportation. I would stay again next time I go back to Dharamsala.

My wife and I along with two friends stayed here in our trip to Dharamsala. We selected this hotel based off of the pictures on-line and glad we did. We arrived at about 5:30AM with no lights on, front gate locked and no sign of any staff. We were afraid we would be sitting on the front porch until someone showed up later in the morning. We ended up walking around a bit and one of the staff heard us, got out of bed and checked us in. He asked us what time we wanted breakfast and let us freshen...

Stayed at this hotel on Temple Road, McLeod Ganj in January end 2026 and honestly had a very nice experience. Food was really good. The balcony view was amazing — you can see Dharamshala and snow-covered mountains, which felt super peaceful. The place is calm and quiet but still very close to the main square and Dalai Lama Temple, so location is perfect. Mrs Sonia at the reception was very welcoming and kind, made us feel comfortable right from the start. Overall, a simple, peaceful stay...
