"Lovely hotel and staff. Great location to National Mall. Only input has to do with the room design. They are trend focused but not sleep focused. The edges and design need a softening, curtain would be helpful —Our bed was stiff and pillows too large for sleeping. Thankfully, as soon as I thought to request smaller pillows in the early morning hours, the staff immediately provided them."
"Everything was exceptional. Front desk receptionists were awesome and accommodating. My only complaint is the bartender- we arrived late and my sister wanted to enjoy the happy hour (I wasn’t there yet). Can’t remember what time it ended but she had 10 minutes. He waited to serve her until after it ended. She’s non confrontational (I’m not). It’s called Unreasonable Hospitality- she would’ve gotten 1 happy hour drink but she would’ve felt like we did when we checked in (like we mattered). Instead she got 1 drink and left and his tip was light so he only hurt himself in the end. May want to educate a what good customer service looks like.
Just a suggestion"
"Big win if you provided a complimentary water and coffee station in the lobby.
Most people do not brew their coffee in their room. The coffee tray in the room that holds the cups, cream and sugar is never clean.
When people travel, they do not want to be bothered with making coffee. Plus, many things taste better when someone else prepares it."
"There was a ship on the property that takes you to the National Harbor a must see. The basic breakfast was very nice and a sweet lady named Maria greets you and takes good care of you."
"This was a great hotel to close out our 9 day vacation. Great location, loved the option of 2 King beds for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very attentive when we needed things like extra towels and we really appreciated the water stations in the lobby and on the guest floors!"
