"Patriots Inn is a good reliable place to stay if you're looking for convenient, inexpensive lodging in Williamsburg. The staff was friendly attentive, the room clean, and the furnishings relatively comfortable. The full (though small) kitchen is a nice perk, but plan to bring your own coffee (what was provided was undrinkable) and pack a frying pan if you want to cook breakfast. (The ancient nonstick pan in our unit had shreds of toxic material flaking off.) Note — they charged us a "resort fee" of $11.20 per night. This was not mentioned at check-in. It apparently covers the pool (not open), the exercise room (small, and free at other hotels) and the game room (???). "

"Front desk guy was great BUT… no… wait for it… toilet paper!!! Like no where! When I called front desk he just said they were out like in the whole hotel!!! Then showed up later with half a roll! New hotel with kitchenettes but literally nothing to use the kitchen with!! No dishes, silverware, cups, dish soap! One small bar of soap for kitchen and bathroom! No shampoo/conditioner/lotion! Not even a full set of towels for two people!!! "

"They were doing construction they put us by the construction. The people was up at four in the morning beating stuff. The Wi-Fi kept going out. It was just a lot."

"The breakfast was excellent I rated the room less than excellent because of the location-near the pool and laundry room. I would use this property again but would not except rooms 102 or 104. These rooms lend themselves to an unacceptable noise level "

"Spark is a nice mid level hotel. The rooms are small and hard to maneuver in. When we walked into the room the cleaning crew left a bottle of cleaning chemicals on a side table that I did not notice at first, I don’t have a small child but if I did I would’ve been concerned. And our A/C rattled so loud it would wake me . Prolly won’t stay there again"
