The Hotel Jama is absolutely fabulous! Even though it was built in 1971, it is beautifully refurbished inside with elegant lounge areas and a lovely bar. Our room felt brand new - the whole hotel is even better than it looks on the website - and it looks pretty nice on there to begin with! The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly, from the warm welcome at check-in and on departure to the staff in the restaurant at dinner. A buffet breakfast is included, so you definitely won’t go hungry. And...
Newly renovated , everything you may need including small kitchenette with dishes and cookware. However no need to cook as the restaurant has a chef who cooks delicious dinners in the restaurant eight there most nights. Breakfast also so good with fresh squeezed OJ and fresh eggs cooked to preference. Able to enjoy sights of Slovenia and Croatia from this home base.
This accommodation was very well located in old town next to all of the highlights of the area (sites, restaurants, attractions, etc.). The room was simple but clean and comfortable. Note that this place is in an area where cars are not allowed and you will have to walk from your transportation (bus, shuttle, taxi, etc.) or park in a nearby parking garage. We did not interact in person with any staff, but they were responsive via email/messages in Hotel.com.

We loved this hotel! The modern design is comfortable and well designed. The town is lovely and a 20 minute walk with park trails. Restaurant and breakfast are very good as well.
Great hotel that isn't far from Trieste. Parking is for free on the street, but if you arrive in the evening parking is available very close. Room was cozy and will stay here again in the future.
Very convenient to public transport. Easy to get to the city center. Very nice clean modern place with a well stocked mini kitchen. The staff was very friendly. Two things to suggest for improving. The shower head only has one place it rests and it’s about at tummy level. You could hold it with your hands but it would be nice if there was a second holder so it would shower down on your whole body. Also the towels were quite rough. Would definitely stay here again tho!
