Charming, simple & family friendly. Very relaxing.

We chose this based on tripadvisor recommendations, and we were highly impressed. Room was very clean, generously sized and had a breathtaking view over the lake. We ate dinner in the hotel both nights, which is very unusual for us, but the food and service were so good. Most other guests were german, but we only spoke English and were very welcomed. Very nice property with an equally nice host. Breakfast provided in the morning and we also enjoyed a beer on the outside patio in the evening. Room very clean and comfortable. Close proximity to castles and Highline 179. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Everything was excellent! If you require special shampoo, soap or conditioner it’s best to bring a bit of your own.

The owners were very nice and hospitable. The food was delicious. Beds were comfy and we slept so well there. It’s nothing fancy, which was perfect. It was homey and a great stay. So glad we chose to stay here.

Mr Lutz is a exceptional person. He woke up extra earlier to prepare the breakfast for me despite his personal duties. Extreme friendly and helpful person! The stay was a dream! I hope to come soon for my ski trip!!!! I wish Mr Lutz would offer a workshop what customer service and care means!

Great location. We had a large terrace with amazing views of the castle and mountains. Rooms were large with ample space. Hotel offered two restaurants and a complimentary breakfast each day. Also offered free parking.

We really enjoyed this place and all the perks like the cereal bar/mini market in the shared space . The views were lovely and it felt very modern though we were staying in a historic building . We did not have any interaction with staff but everything was clearly marked so it was an easy stay !

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hirsch overall and would consider staying there again if we were going to be in the area. The front of the building reminds me of something out of a Wes Anderson film, and the inside is equally cute and comfortable with an updated, yet traditional Bavarian feel.
