We LOVED staying at the Mirador. The staff there REALLY seems to care about providing an amazing experience. Guisepie said to act like this was home and it felt like it. We really enjoyed our stay here. A beautiful setting, very clean and the hotel grounds are kept up nicely. Nice places inside and outside to sit and read or have a beverage. The pool was open and clean but very cold, which was welcome to soak our feet after hiking. Parking in front is under cover for shade. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed 2 dinners. Restaurant staff was friendly and attentive.

L'Ardiden was an unexpected delight. It's perched above a river with great mountain views from the rooms and a small balcony. The room was plain, but clean and modern and the bathroom was quite clean and spacious. The location is near the thermal baths, a bit removed from Luz St. Sauveur; however, I preferred being away from the traffic in Luz. It's about a 10 minute walk into Luz. This is a great place to experience Luz, Gavarnie and other regional attractions.

The first thing I have to mention is the excellent staff. Every one of them was polite, attentive and helpful and communicated well in spite of the language barrier. I didn’t speak a word of French but they did their best to communicate in English and they did a great job. Garden and City has lots of common spaces to hang around after a hard day of hiking. Tuve varios problemas para que me llegaran los mensajes a mi correo y respondieron cada una de mis llamadas y atendieron mis inquietudes, la casa en general es muy linda, queda en medio de la nada y con una vista a las estrellas! Vale cada centavo de lo que cuesta! La cocina tiene todo lo que puedas llegar a necesitar, y tienen suficientes toallas para el baño; tuve varios problemas de alergia por el polvo de los enredones pero es algo normal en un material tan grande
