"We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Riviera. The front desk staff were really helpful and friendly and we were welcomed to the hotel with an early check-in which was great. The room was modern and clean, with a decent sized balcony to sit out on and enjoy the view of the lake. The shutters and sound-proof patio door kept the road and neighbouring property noise to a minimum and we slept well every night. The bed was very comfortable and even my wife who has back problems commented how well she slept. We enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning and the waiting staff were all pleasant. I would stay here again and highly recommend the Riviera hotel if you are staying in Desenzano."

"Really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean but don’t leave any sugar drinks or food out! We did have ants but it’s expected on a property close to the water/mountains. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fresh and had plenty of options. The coffee and croissants were fantastic! Also bikes were free and paddle boards were 10$ which we took advantage of and were a nice touch for our stay. The hotel isn’t walking distance to much but the bus/trolly stop was right outside the door so very convenient. For the price of our stay and different amenities this hotel hit the mark!"

"The view from the balcony was amazing, directly looking at the lake, room was plenty spacious and the balcony had plenty of room as well. There is a tunnel from the spa area that goes under the road and brings you out by the sun beds that are as close to the lake as you could get. The pool at the back was perfect (be prepared to wear a little blue swimming cap) and was never too busy when we stayed (late June)"

"Location was great with a shuttle bus (2 Euros) across the road into Sirmione Old Town, ever 15 minutes. Breakfast was plentiful and accommodation adequate for our needs."
