This was the highlight of our stay in Portugal. The owners of the property (Marta and Iker) are fabulous hosts. They made us feel completely at home. As both of them have experience in the restaurant trade, breakfast (which is included) and snacks were exemplary. They make their own jams/preserves and will even cook you a three course meal if you wish. I only stayed a night in the hotel . Staff was exceptional . Food from restaurant was delicious both dinner and breakfast ( has fruit, yogurt, toast , etc a lot for €10 euros was def worth it . I didn’t use the spa because it’s outside of main building and it’s €15 euros. I love the location , it’s right in the center and 10 min walk from Christmas wonderland . It was amazing. Agueda is small town but their decorations are breathtaking def worth it. Transportation : they got a small train...
