"We stayed in the area for our first three days in Ireland and it was our hub to get around Ballyconneely and Clifdon as well as Galway. The hotel staff was very accommodating and the restaurant was great.
We booked a larger room with a living area and bar and it was great. Rooms were clean and the area was quiet during the evening hours. O'Grady's for dinner next to the water was great. Had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and the food was great as well as the staff.

"Great room, very clean. Easy to get to city centre, nice location near the water. Plenty of parking if you are driving, but also quite close to public transportation. Excellent restaurant attached to building. Only downside was the 8am work right outside our room every morning, which sounded like pipes being dragged for an hour."

We stayed here for 2 nights for a portion of our honeymoon. From the start, we loved everything about it. Staff were super friendly and helpful with check in, and then will drawing on a map for us to help us find things to do in Galway. The included breakfast was really good. The West restaurant (upstairs) was a little too fancy for us, so we ended up eating down the street at O'Grady's on the Pier. It was amazing seafood. Nice hotel right on Galway Bay. I visited in late September but would be lovely in summer. Spacious room, good breakfast. Spa services available but I didn’t use them. About 1.5 miles / 25 minute pleasant walk to Galway town center. Large hotel that seems to be used for conferences and meeting point for larger tour groups.
This was a lovely large room in a stately home tucked away from the lively Salt Hill seaside promenade. Unfortunately we hit rush hour traffic as we approached. inching through the busy Salt Hill city center. We arrived during a rare heat wave. Like most accommodations in Ireland, there were was no AC or fans and no television. There was not a tea kettle in the room, but the house offered use of a large communal kitchen where some guests apparently cooked dinner (based on cleaned dishes drying...
This is a stunning property with very professional and friendly staff. There is a beautiful perimeter walk on property, around the golf course and grounds which can include the lake (~1.2-1.5 mile circuit). The food in Palmer’s bar was fine, we liked the chicken supreme quite a bit and the wait staff, especially Derry, was wonderful. The area of town is nothing special, but we enjoyed watching rugby practice at the adjacent pitch. Two issues were the shower; the pressure was good but the design is poor. There was water all over the floor afterwards. The second issue was really poor service in the restaurant, both at dinner and at breakfast. Apparently, being short handed is an issue outside of the US as well.
The property was very charming. It was a short drive into Galway and had lots of parking available. The gardens were lively but we weren't able to use the outdoor space due to the weather.
The breakfasts were incredible and the host, Derek, was very helpful with suggestions on everything from parking downtown to nearby sites to see.
This place was super cute and in a very convenient location. Easy walk from the train station and to the Latin Quarter where all the fun bars/shops are. We felt comfortable and safe during our stay. Easy self check in process! I would definitely stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay. The bed was comfortable and room clean with all the necessary amenities. The hotel has a huge restaurant and Irish bar with many different rooms and 2 levels to accommodate all types of clientele! They had live music and the performances were amazing! The best part was the customer service provided with care, kindness, enthusiasm and pure happiness, always quick with help and a smile from their employee Niall, he was such a pleasure! The location was phenomenal for easy access to Galway city centre. The staff was incredibly helpful.
I do wish the WiFi signal was a little stronger in our room. We had to be by the door in order to get a decent signal.
