Hotel rooms and grounds are well laid out. Even when raining all day, it is nice to walk along the grounds, in covered corridors, with umbrellas. Staff is very helpful and entire experience from check in to checkout was wonderful. Dining room staff at both restaurants is very attentive. Pool is great, rooms are very clean, spa is good, Friday disco was fun, most evenings there is live piano player and singer who is very entertaining.
I found this property through the internet and it lived up to the good reviews. I arrived mid-week and the place was almost empty. I understand that during the high season it is completely full. I enjoyed the peace and the employees seemed to pay extra attention to me. The property has a lot of trees and I felt relaxed as soon as I got there. The room was nice enough, but basic. I would call this place heaven on earth. In this world of electronics I felt I have reached a place where you can commune with nature and spend quality time with friends and family. Food was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Place runs like clockwork. Was very happy to receive personal phone calls reminding us for lunch and dinner.Can't wait to go back and enjoy the other machans.
We were upgraded to a suite by the General Manager, which offered a breathtaking valley view. We truly enjoyed the experience and greatly appreciated the thoughtful gesture.
