Hotels in San Javier

"I will put the review I wish someone else put for me. This is NOT a 5 star hotel. I repeat, NOT a 5 star hotel. They don’t even understand the concept. Bed hard as a rack, I barely slept. It lacks basic amenities, staff rarely smiles and when I asked for sanitary towel, they looked at me like I was crazy. Mirror hanging half off the wall, phone not functional so having to go downstairs for every little thing and in 5 days they failed to correct it. They leave 2 dingy over sized towels for the entire day which left white residue on your body so if you shower twice you now need to go downstairs to request one and don’t expect to get it for hours. It took 3 days to get me 2 wash cloths which they never replaced for the rest of the stay. Booked a spa treatment and asked to arrive 15 minutes early which we did and after 20 minutes no one showed up. I tried to check out early and they gave me a hard time. I’m now settled into a more decent closer to 5 star hotel minutes away. If it was ranked 3 stars, I would have given it a 7/10. Don’t expect a 4 season treatment in Medellin. I’ve been here 3 times and sampled 50% of everything claiming to be 5 starts."

"Small rooms but clean, lots of noise in the hallways. Rooftop pool is great, but also small. Nice, quiet area of Poblado close, but away from the craziness. Best suited for younger travelers, or couples, definitely not families. Definitely go back."

"Excelente hotel. Habitaciones limpias y cómodas, personal muy amable y atento. La ubicación es perfecta a 5 minutos caminando del poblado y el ambiente muy tranquilo. El hotel tiene el detalle de proporcionar protectores auditivos, la realidad en nuestra experiencia no fue necesario. El desayuno bufet muy bueno. ¡Totalmente recomendado!"
