You can't beat having a private hot tub overlooking greenery outside. There are also public baths, men and women separate. The hotel is a little funky but comfortable and with pleasant service and good food - hot pot for dinner in your choice of beef, pork, chicken or mushroom (which was great btw). Easy walk to the little train to the waterfall (or walk), with shops run by local tribe. Staff arranged a taxi to airport for 1800 NTD, takes an hour

This was a gem in the forest. After the Uber driver dead-ended in a dirt parking area surrounded by a dense bamboo trees we had our doubts we were in the right place. A very short correction we were at a gate to a very nice roomy parking area and a nice new looking building with a very pleasant entry. From the start we were blown away by how nice this 68 room hotel was. Nestled at the entry to a park with pretty views of the city and mountain hiking trails. It was modern roomy and very clean....

I had a lovely experience with the absolute sweetest hosts. The couple hosting this stay were so welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home in such a cozy space. We really enjoyed getting to know them, and they also provided various suggestions to visit around the area. The property itself is beautiful with incredibly spacious rooms.
