"Clean cabana with nice porch and big shower. Tucked In jungle. Town at bottom of steep hill. Next to Cahal pech ruins-can walk. Paula who runs it is a gem and helps arrange tours, taxis. Barton creek cave canoe, xunantunich, butterfly farm, iguana conservatory raptor center, Belize zoo. Dinners on site very good. Great breakfast menu but didn’t use- I tour on empty stomach! Bar at night. Market at bottom of hill has beer, liquor, water etc. great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool. "

"The property is very nice and has a lot of potential, but our stay had a few issues. The room cleanliness was not the best and there was a very strong noticeable mold smell. The AC also did not work in one of our rooms. The food was just okay, and we found it was better to drive into town for meals. The pool also had extremely cold water — probably the coldest in Belize — which made it barely usable. Overall, the property is beautiful, but there are a few areas that could really use improvement."

"This was the best resort I've ever stayed in, staff was super friendly, the resort and spa was relaxing, my time there was enjoyable. Next time I come back to Belize I'll make sure to stay here. Also the restaurant food was fabulous. Definitely will recommend to anyone wanting a jungle relaxing experience in Belize."

"Despite 8/10 rating & relatively low price the room was unacceptable. The bed cratered into a huge dip in the very middle, collapsed top to bottom & left to right. Wall 3ft from window so no natural light. Tiny jail sink with only 1x cold tap, no hand towel - only 2 mismatched stained bigger towels. Shower dirty & sheets stained. Cockroaches at night. Reception staff very unfriendly at arrival & no acknowledgement at other times. Working AC & 50m from tour companies the only positive."
