Modern, very central, new building with very nice room. Excellent bed and pillows, Bathroom is small with walk in shower. The view on city from most rooms is nice.
For not speaking the same language it went very very smooth. Very clean and a great location. Any difficulties were solved. Only complaint is the walls were a little thin if you have neighboring guests.
Great experience. Very nice view of the river from the water-side rooms. Quiet, peaceful, safe, clean. the staff are terrific. 10 minute walk to Metro, 3 stops from center of city. Taxi service good and inexpensive.

2. the restaurant, which does not belong to the hotel, is overpriced and has menus only in Russian and English (and none in Ukrainian), and the staff of the restaurant seems reluctant to respond to customers in Ukrainian.

I was soo pleased to stay in Sherborne Apt /Hotel. It is a such a beautiful, very clean and quiet place. Has a well equipped kitchen! This is really important to me when I travel so I can cook a little and eat healthier.
The Hotel is located in the most Historical area of the city, and about 5 minutes walking distance from the Subway. Several food shops and restaurants just around the corner.
The service was great! The Administration and the people in service were so warm and loving....
We stayed at this hotel because the reviews were so good and because of the location so close to the Maidan. Turns out the reviews were quite accurate. Everything was great. The room was clean and spacious. Everything in the bathroom was fine. The staff was friendly and helpful and very security conscious. Only a few steps from Maidan. Worth the money.
I spent 8 nights at the Vozdvyzhensky in late October, as a tourist. It was my first trip to Kiev. I do hope to go back, and I would not consider any other hotel. From the U.S. Staying in Kiev for business for 5 days. I was unsure about this hotel because of the mixed reviews but I can say this was easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms were huge, full facilities with a bedroom, full closet, bathroom, living room, and kitchen. The staff was very helpful booking us taxi's when necessary and we are a cooked breakfast every morning at the restaurant.
