The Coast Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"The Coast Lodge had the best view of the Atlantic Ocean that I’ve ever seen anywhere! It was a great room, comfortable and very reasonably priced. Be sure to ask for a room with an ocean view( the lodge is literally across the street from the Atlantic)! The staff are very friendly and the food was awesome. The fish tasted as if they just brought it up from the boats. Extremely fresh! If you are visiting the Cliffs of Moher, it is definitely worth the 30 minute drive to stay at the Coast Lodge! You’ll be happy you did!"
Cashen Course House
10/10 Excellent
"It was very clean and comfortable. Quiet area just out of town and across from the golf course. A very lovely stay."
Lahinch Coast Hotel & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful location right at the ocean. Clean spacious comfortable rooms. Delicious onsite dining options. Easy walk to beach, shops, and restaurants. Plenty of onsite parking."
Trump International Golf Links And Hotel Doonbeg Ireland
10/10 Excellent
"It’s a spectacular property to visit and/or play golf."
Vaughan Lodge Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful stay. From check in to check out. Five stars. Thank you."
Shamrock Inn Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was fine. Had to go to the hotel next to Shamrock for breakfast, as they are owned by same company. Breakfast was ok, nothing shockingly great, and a bit wasteful, as we were brought food we didn’t need. They should put it all as a buffet."
The Tides B&B
10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic experience staying at the Tides B&B in Ballybunion. David and Noreen were so welcoming, kind, and helpful as we were planning our next couple days in the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and Galway. Our room (#6) was spacious, had a walk in closet with two luggage racks (!) , sizable bathroom with a wonderful four-way shower and bath product. Our king bed was super comfy with luxurious comforter and pillows. We had a lovely sitting area to read books and a fancy coffee/tea making station and mini frig. The breakfast was incredibly generous with the continental breakfast alone offering at least five different cold cereals, cheese, three different pastries (chocolate croissant, plain croissant, cinnamon bun), Guinness banana bread, two kinds of bread for toast, assorted jams and butter, yogurt and fresh fruit salad, a delicious granola yogurt concoction, and several types of juice, coffee, ample tea selection. And I’m sure I’m missing some items! On top of all that you can add hot items - Irish breakfast, eggs and sausage and bacon and hash browns, two different kinds of crepes, and more. While we were not here to golf this time, clearly most folks are golfers. We wanted to be closer to the Tarbert Ferry to head north as we were coming from (a terrible hotel stay) in Dingle and the Tides was a welcome oasis for us. It was also lovely to not deal with difficult parking for the first time in Ireland! We hope our travels bring us back to Ballybunion and to visit"
Myles Creek Guesthouse
8/10 Good
"The only issue we had was the property texted us a key box code for our room to my phone and I didn't have phone coverage in Ireland, Luckily we were able to call and the host came and let us into our room. The stairs were a struggle but we knew there were stairs so we were okay."
Atlantic Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean, spacious room with 2 large windows overlooking Main Street, with generous transom windows above that. Staff very kind and helpful. Great food for dinner, and for the free madero order breakfast as well. I only wish the self serve portion could be opened before 8am, or available by request to your room, for those of us checking out early. Great location, huge parking area behind the hotel. Loved it!"
