Very nice hotel. Great location in central Valletta. Most of the staff is excellent, knowledgeable and helpful. Good amenities. Couldn't check in when we got there, so we left our bags and toured the city. When we returned, the room was ready and the bags had already been brought up.
The room was spacious and clean. The climate control was continuous which was absolutely necessary after exploring the island in the brutal heat. The bartender on the rooftop bar, Suman, was amazing and kind. The views from the rooftop of the three cities was spectacular.
Imagine a house full of Magic, Charm, Character and History. Add an amazing and very helpful and forthcoming Hotel Manager named Heather and you get a very unique experience, very off the beaten track of the commercial hotels. Me and my daughter stayed at the Burrow 6 nights and this was a very rewarding an memorable experience. Highly recommend it.

Very happy about our stay at San Karlu Hotel. The rooms were spacious and modern with all amenities. The breakfast was outstanding and the employees were great. The hotel was centrally located surrounded by historic buildings and great restaurants.

Great hotel in a central location, very clean, staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good with good choice. Only negative during the week long stay - Saturday night was very busy/ noisy in the surrounding area around St.Julian’s but rest of week was much quieter. Good location with great selection of restaurants.
The apartment I was offered was very nice, very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The apartment was just a few steps away from a hotel in a new building. I had a lot of space to spread out and relax. The apartment offered all the amenities I needed, such as a fully stocked kitchen, air conditioning in both the living room and in the bedroom, a washer, and fast WiFi. The hotel front desk staff was very polite and helpful. Near the apartment, there are many shops, restaurants, groceries,...
Location was perfect walking distance to the night life . Make sure you stop for breakfast in the morning and please talk to Michael. He’s a wealth of knowledge of the island. Give him four minutes of your time every day and he knows the dues and don’ts this guy is definitely an asset to the hotel. He made our trip much better by guiding us where to go and we’re not to thanks again Michael we will be back.
